These adorable rescue wombats were given a second chance at life. Sadly both their mums were hit by cars, and they had to be retrieved from the warmth of her pouch. It’s the compassion and dedication of our local wildlife carers that have given value to these bush babies lives. I’ve had the unspeakable honour of feeding these bubs and walking them through the bush as they prepared for their return to the wild. Fully grown now, they spend the day sleeping and emerge of an afternoon to forage freely on the property they now call home. They are free to come and go as they please and still visit the incredibly dedicated carer that nurtured them in their darkest hours.
