Our Mother Mountain ‘Gulaga’ embraces the coast with her youngest son ‘Najanuka’ nestled by her side. Tucked into the hillside below is our old water tower. The family dog chases a ball along the beach past sand hills and towards the caves and rock pools that make Beares such a magical place. The ocean is alive and home to magnificent Whales, playful Dolphins and cheeky Seals. Soaring above is a majestic White Bellied Sea Eagle commanding the skies and ‘Watching Over Beares Beach’
I have had such a beautiful time bringing this painting to life. It’s one of my favourite beaches in our gorgeous little town Bermagui.
